NPD’s Christmas Wish List Report
Learn which products children really want for Christmas . . .
and what their parents will really buy for them
With NPD’s new Christmas Wish List report, you’ll know precisely what products children wanted most this Christmas – and what their parents actually bought for them. This new information comes directly from consumers in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
You can use the report to understand when and where consumers purchase gifts, which product categories are most requested and purchased, how toys compete with other categories of gifts, what types of promotions are most effective, and how ads influence sales.
The study will be conducted in early January 2010.
Separate reports are available by country, or you can purchase a package with all three countries.
Here are just a few of the questions the Christmas Wish List report answers:
- When did your child start to think seriously about his or her Christmas wishes/gifts?
- When did you decide what Christmas gifts to buy your child?
- Which were your child’s top four wishes?
- How much did you spend on these gifts?
- How many gifts did your child receive?
- Where and when did you buy these gifts?
- Which type of retail promotions did you find particularly appealing during the Christmas season?
